McFarlane Toys is ready for football season right now, so it's a perfect time to take a look at our NFL 13 lineup. Our first current football line for 2006 is due in stores in late August, and it features a trio of talented quarterbacks, last season's Rookie of the Year, the heart of a championship defense and a receiver on his way to the Hall of Fame.

RANDY MOSS 4 -- After seven seasons as the main attraction in Minnesota, Randy Moss moved to Oakland, where his unparalleled skills seemed a perfect match for Al Davis' preferred brand of long-range football. Injuries and inconsistent quarteback plays left his first Raiders season subpar (by his criteria) but hope springs eternal in the Raider Nation, and a new season brings a new QB and the return of respected coach Art Shell to fix the Oakland system. In just eight seasons, Moss has scored 98 touchdowns, good for eighth-best all-time. With three more scores, he'll move past Don Hutson, Steve Largent and Tim Brown for fifth place.

CARSON PALMER -- In just his second year as Cincinnati's starting quarterback, Carson Palmer torched the league for 32 touchdowns and nearly 4,000 passing yards while leading the Bengals to their first division title since 1990. Palmer established himself as a Pro Bowl quarterback for Marvin Lewis' young team. A knee injury ended his first playoff game, but following months of rehab, the "Cincinnati Kid" is eyeing a return to the field and a defense of the NFC North title.

"CADILLAC" WILLIAMS -- Tampa Bay's "rebuilding" didn't take long, and draft picks like the 2005 NFL Rookie of the Year didn't hurt. "Cadillac" Williams went from a part-time role in the Auburn rushing attack to a starring role with the Buccaneers. He drove Tampa to a record six 100-yard rushing games, including 148, 128 and 58 yards rushing in his first three games.

TEDY BRUSCHI -- The emotional leader of the Patriots defense gave New England a real scare when he suffered a mild stroke just ten days after winning the 2005 Super Bowl. Eight months later, Bruschi returned to the field, joining his teammates to make two tackles (and assisting on five others) in a 21-16 victory over Buffalo. The Patriots rebounded from a 3-3 start without Bruschi to finish the season 10-6, claiming the AFC East title serving notice that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

DREW BLEDSOE -- The quarterback for "America's Team" heads into the 2006 season with something to prove. After last year's disappointing season, the Cowboys made a major transition on offense, bringing in talented but troubled wideout Terrell Owens. Despite causing the occasional headache, Owens is one of the best receivers in the league, and his presence should make Bledose's life easier. Bledsoe's career doesn't always get the respect it deserves -- in his 13 seasons he's surpassed legends like Joe Montana, Jim Kelly, Johnny Unitas and Boomer Esiason for 7th place on the all-time passing yardage list.

ELI MANNING 2 -- Shaking off the "Peyton's little brother" label a bit, Eli Manning passed for nearly 4,000 yards in 2005, leading the New York Giants to an 11-5 record and their first division title since 2000. The top overall selection in the 2004 draft, Manning has thrived in the Big Apple, improving each season and has the G-Men ready to defend their division title and contend in the playoffs in 2006.
