Konerko was a highly regarded prospect for the Dodgers, but never truly realized his potential in Los Angeles or Cincinnati. Once he arrived on Chicago's South Side, he exploded into the dynamic force we see today. Konerko rewarded the organization's faith by dominating the post-season in 2005 - crushing five homers and delivering 15 RBI in Chicago's 12 playoff games that culminated in the World Series championship.
